Thanks to Avi and everyone at Clean Foundation, we learned about the Northern Red Oak, how to identify good quality acorns, and got to explore the natural areas within Jerry Lawrence Nature Park. Seeds we collected will be donated to local nurseries, grown into seedlings, and then planted in the local Wabanaki-Acadian forest to support the national 2 billion tree foundation! Thanks to everyone who showed up with such enthusiasm :)
